CANDLE CARE

Candles add warmth, ambiance, and a delightful fragrance to any room. However, proper candle care is essential to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Taking care of your candles not only extends their lifespan but also ensures that they burn evenly and cleanly. In this candle care guide, we will discuss some essential tips and tricks for candle care, from trimming the wick to storing your candles correctly. By following these simple steps, you can enjoy your candles to the fullest and make the most out of your investment.

TOP TEN TIPS

  1. When you first light your candle, allow it to burn for a maximum of 4 hours or until the surface has melted as close to the edges of the vessel as possible.

  2. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to prevent the flame from getting too large, which can cause black soot and shorten the lifespan of the candle.

  3. Keep the candle away from drafts, as this can cause uneven burning and black sooting, increasing the risk of the candle tipping over.

  4. Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, far from the edge of the surface, and away from flammable objects

  5. Keep candles away from your pets and small children.

  6. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating

  7. Extinguish the flame by gently blowing on it or using a snuffer to avoid hot wax splatters.

  8. Allow the candle vessel to fully cool before moving to prevent accidental burning

  9. After extinguishing the candle, wait until the wax has solidified before relighting.

  10. Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent melting or discoloration.

By following these simple guidelines, you can help ensure that your candles burn safely and last longer. Enjoy the cozy ambiance and delightful scents they provide!
